<p>I didnt start any of the financial aid stuff yet for any colleges. I didnt think I had to do it until I was actually accepted first. But im looking at the caltech site now and it says "Early Action applicants must register for the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE by October 15, 2006 and must submit the completed PROFILE application by November 15, 2006." Does this mean i cant apply for aid now?</p>

<p>Yeah, just call the fin aid office, and get it done as soon as you can. I'm sure it'll be fine; they always seemed very helpful when I had to talk to them.</p>
<p>You're fine, I didn't submit mine for a while and they didn't mind. It may take you longer to hear back about it, but you're definitely not out. If you're worried, call the financial aid office (sometime after January 2nd), and talk to them.</p>
