<p>I got an email today from Carolina and it was entitled 'financial aid award' or something like that. It told me to sign in with the Onyen and the password, look for 'financial award' and it'd discuss the offer. Nothing there!</p>
<p>Anyone else have this happen to them?</p>

<p>My DD got same email - we do not qualify for any aid so the statement showed the non-subsidized loan she can take</p>

<p>This is what DD told me - In ConnectCarolina Student Center locate the section entitled "Finances. This section will include a sub-category for Financial Aid. Select “View Financial Aid” and choose the appropriate Aid Year.</p>
<p>KS, that happened to me, too. I have gotten multiple e-mails from UNC telling me to check out my aid status on my portal, but they’ve not changed anything on it. I still only have the govt. loan. I’ll update when I recieve something else from UNC.

<p>…and they told me I had to go into the onyen site and create another, updated onyen and password and then THAT would allow me to gain access to the information.</p>
