On my ISIS website, it says JHU grant/Freshmen award 39K..does that mean JHU is covering 39K for me?

thanks,

thanks,

i would guess so. wow - congratulations - that's a GREAT package! You going?

Yes. You won't have to pay that back.

How were financial aid packages for the rest of you guys?

how did you guys get your ID...
i didnt get my e-mail yet and im pretty sure i applied for aid

My aid package was... decent. About 28K (this excludes work study and loans). The unfortunate part is that that's only because we will have two kids in college next year. After that, it's only me, and I know that package is going to disappear D:

that's awesome, robertkim!
my fin. aid packet is pretty sweet~$39000 (excluding workstudy/loans)
and so now i'm seriously considering jhu... it doesn't cost too much and it has a fantastic neuroscience program!

also, sluo7990, the ID was sent in an email a while back (got mine in january)

thanks livingtea... i found it

My "package" was awful. The EFC calculated from the FAFSA was $31,000 but for my financial aid JHU said cost of attendance: $52,278, current status: no need, I didn't even get work study or loans, just nothing. When I read that I was utterly shocked. I hope they just made a mistake or something. Rice gave me $12,000 of need based aid and Rice costs about $10,000 less than JHU. My other schools also gave similar packages as Rice did.

lehcar..i feel for you man. I got 3500 aid but that was only a loan. They didnt even meet the numbers from fafsa.

the rest of you are very lucky to have that much aid in the form of grants.
