Financial aid

So, should Bright Futures show up at this point? It isn’t showing for us either.

Yes, how do we ensure Bright Futures shows up. I have made sure the Bright Futures application is filled out. But do I do anything else for Bright Futures? How do I make sure BF gets my volunteer hours, GPA, SAT scores? (I will call UF too).

@Parman37 All of those processes of sending hours, GPA, scores (etc.) are handled by the Guidance Counselors at my school. Right now, Bright Futures amounts indicated through UF are just estimates (based on what you say you’re qualified for in the application). It’s not official until after graduation.

Click on contact a financial aid adviser. Let them know in the message that your Bright Futures is not showing up and what level that you anticipate receiving. They will add it to your package fairly quickly.

Does anyone know if UF offers a partial refund if you break the housing contract due tomorrow?

@HPfan101 If you cancel by may 1’st and do not enroll into UF, you’ll get $100 back, they keep the rest as a cancellation fee. $225 - $125 cancellation fee = $100

If you cancel, but still enroll into UF, you’ll get nothing back. $225 -$225 Cancellation fee = $0.

Bright Futures will not show up until we pick our classes.

@Gator88NE Bright Futures now covers the summer term? Sorry if i’m misunderstanding, but does that mean that students admitted for Summer 2018 are able to use bright futures to cover summer tuition as well as fall and spring? Thanks
