Financial Aid?

<p>Hi, all. My friend, an accepted student at UVM, is worried about her ability to pay for school. Does UVM offer generous financial aid (grants)?</p>

<p>She's already gotten the $3k/yr presidential scholarship, but could she be eligible for more? Here are her stats:</p>

<p>SAT: 1990 (700 M, 620 CR, 670 W)
SAT II: 730 Math 2, 740 Biology-M
Courseload: Difficult
GPA: 4.11
Rank: 5/522
Approx Income: $60k
EFC: 6k </p>

<p>So will she get any aid/merit money?</p>

<p>You should have your friend contact financial aid or just wait to see what she's offered when her financial aid packet comes. There is really no other way to know.</p>

<p>M chatted with an AO at an accepted students night. i'm pretty sure she said 3k is the biggest merit scholarship they give (kind of disappointing, if you ask me).</p>
