financial aids & Scholarships

Ok let me add my little thought --

Pavalon,,, geniezclone was only trying to advise other applicants of the application process thru 'need blind' colleges - whether it's true/false,... I believe that......

He was not trying to discourage other applicants --

I think you're acting immature. This is reality, not a world where everything works your own way.
It's like.. crossing the road. Uhhhh, yeah, you'll get to the other side. But people tell you to look out for cars before you cross so you dont hurt urself. You remind of a 17 boy crossing the road with a blindfold over your eyes.

I don't know how you are still alive - only believing EVERYTHING others say and not even being CAUTIOUS about the negative factors.

Snap out of it Pavalon. The world doesnt always revolve around you.

YES i have said everything. Maybe this will be the end of this thread.

The fact that people with stellar stats get rejected doesn't mean anything. There are just ap. 10 times more stellar people applying to Ivies than there are places - they have to reject a lot of people. So, there is no logic between applying for financial aid and being rejected in the case you are talking about.
Also, I would agree with Pavalon in the point about the school's budgets. These great schools can afford to give full rides to everyone. So, they can afford to select the best from the best without paying attention to their financial needs.

geniezclone, have you applied for aid at any need blind college? i wouldn't feel too comfortable applying to a college i thought was lying, dunno about you.
