Hi, I'm an international student and might be going for early action and regular admissions. Can someone please explain how the financial documents work? as in FASFA and all. Do I have to turn them in with my application? and all the other basic stuff when it comes to financial documents. I'm completely clueless here

If you are not a U.S. Citizen, you are unable to fill out the FAFSA for financial aid purposes.

You can fill it out even if you’re an International student. Certain colleges do offer financial aid to International students

For Internationals usually it is Collegeboard’s CSS Profile form to be filled
to the OP-Please review you the details in the individual college website

Thanks. I’ll check it out. Any other details I should know when it comes to finances?

If you need financial aid in order to attend, have you started by verifying that all of the colleges on your list offer financial aid to international students?

You need to verify that each place on your list does award financial aid to international applicants.

Then you need to ask each place what they require of you. Do not be surprised if each place asks for different information. Just get whatever University A wants to University A, and whatever University B wants to University B.

I get all that and I’ve checked if the colleges I’m applying to give financial aid to internationals or not. One other thing I’d like to know is if my financial documents need to be turned in with my application or can I submit them afterwards?
