Did any international student get his/her financial package??

I’m a domestic international (going to a secondary school in KY), and I was expecting an email notification today. When I found out I hadn’t got anything at by 3 PM today, I even called Furman Financial office to make sure today was the day they send email notifications to internationals (they are sending mails to domestics today).

Yet, I have heard nothing. If I get nothing by the end of the night, I will be very disappointed.

Same here…I was expecting a financial package from them today. Yet, I did n’t receive it.
Does this mean we are not getting any financial aid?? Have any other international got their financial package??

Even if they were to not give any financial aid to us, they would have noticed us of it. I think it’s just that they had some kind of problem (e.g. not making all the financial decisions by today) that they couldn’t send all the e-mails today. I’ve never heard of schools not being able to notice their applicants of situations on the designated day they decided to let applicants know…

So, you called the Furman Financial office, what did they tell you?? Are they giving decisions on April 3??

This is exactly how the conversation went: “Are financial packages coming out today?”
“Yes, for domestics, mails went out this afternoon.”
“I’m an international, what should I expect?”
“For internationals, E-mails will go out this evening.”
“Ok, Thanks.”

Obviously nothing came in my E-mail… And yes, I don’t have a confirmation that our packages will be notified by even tomorrow. Who knows.

That being said, there’s nothing we can do. Lets hope for the best. That’s all…!!!

I was going to arrange a flight to Furman over my spring break depending on what kind of financial aid I got. It might be just one day delay, but the airfare could sky-rocket, which sucks…

Well then best of luck…I wish you get a nice aid. Enjoy your flight…!!!

Have you asked any of your friends(internationals) whether they got their financial package or not?
