thanks guys! any other suggestions?

All the ones that have been mentioned sound like they should fit you…I think somebody mentioned Oberlin, that’s a good one although it might not be where you’re looking geographically. Some of your reach schools sound like you have a really good chance with them, especially if you take the SAT again.

Thanks clarinetgurl… really? I’m scared I’ll only get into my safeties, ha!

I’ll look more into the schools that have been mentioned. But any more suggestions would be great! :)

I’ve heard Middlebury has a really homogenous campus… true? not true? any input?

BUT, I’ve also heard the opposite and heard that I’d love Middlebury. Anyone have anything to say on this?

what about william and mary?

It’s a great school… but I don’t want to go all the way to Virginia…
Thanks for the suggestion, though

Loyola of Maryland

Oberlin is homogenous.

“Socially awkward, liberal, timid, pale, intelligent but unassertive, artistic, distrustful of social conventions, anti-wealth-that type”

LOL Completely opposite of the student body I look for, because my high school was half like that (and half ghetto) and I hated it. I’m looking at schools like SMU.

Try:
Montclair State University in NJ
University of New Haven in CT

oh lol sorry i didn’t read your whole paragraph you wrote…

hmm… wesleyan?

I don’t know much about these schools, but how about Trinity College in Ct, Conn. College, Franklin and Marshall, Bucknell, Lafayette, Dickinson (all in PA).
