Find that YouTube video!

Okay CC; I was watching a YouTube music video the other day and can't remember its name. There was a tall guy with dark black longish hair walking down the street, bumping into people who were stopping and staring. His eyes didn't move from the camera (you) at all the entire time. The video was shot in black and white. The reason I ask is because I'm trying to track down a lovely violin melody whose name I don't know, and which I suspect may have been in this video.

Help!

(P.S. I remember a lot of comments saying things like "that's not the singer" or "that's not him" or "he walks differently.")

Wrong forum! Please move to the caf

My wild guess is that you watched a video of "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve, though it's not so much black and white as it is quite a bit desaturated. Hope that's it.

Score! Thank you! I seem to have remembered it as black and white. Is that violin melody original or not? The rest of the song is crap, but that part is nice.

I love that song!

Wikipedia has more about the background melody here, here, and here. The full song from which it was taken (which is better than the Verve song and the original Rolling Stones song, in my opinion) can be found on YouTube here.
