Hello! I'm a senior in high school, trying to get all of her schools together to start getting ready for applications. I'm having a lot of trouble though, finding safety and match schools that have anthropology and international relations majors (I'm double majoring). Can anyone recommend some schools? So far I've only got University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins, and Syracuse University.

I'd be happy to put up more of my information if you need it:

SAT: superscored
- Math: 620
- Critical Reading: 730
- Writing: 750

GPA: About 3.94

Arizona has a really well-regarded anthro program, one of the best in the country, I think, and you'd probably get great merit money.

But judging by the other schools on your list, I imagine that you might want something smaller. And more east-coast.

How about American as a safety? DC is an ideal location for anything IR related. And Brandeis would be a good match. Or, if you're not opposed to going west, Denver could be a safety too (they supposedly have a "hidden gem" IR program - Condoleezza went there).

Well thank you!! That was really helpful, I'm going to look into those schools. I'm not opposed to schools that aren't on the East Coast, though I guess I'd prefer them. My main priority is just finding the schools with the best programs in what I want to do.
