<p>What would you recommend for finding summer internships for college freshmen. (science based) Should I go to my advisor or search online..is there a website that is specifically made for this?
I would really like to land an internship at merck. Anyone know how possible this is and how i would go about it?
Also, is this the right time period to begin applying for them?</p>
<p>My daughter was just offered an internship at Merck. The process was failrly informal and offer made at the end of a half hour phone interview. She is currently a junior in chemical engineering. I don't know if they more uperclass students, but this could be the case since they can see if the students coursework is focussed towards their areas of need for that particular year.</p>
