*Fines Lines under eyes/ Wrinkles! *

okay this should be @ the least of my concern, but it has truly gotten to me now....

maintaing clear, problem-free skin is really big nowadays..everyone wants perfect skin.....and i don't want to regret in the future that i could have taken care of it if i had taken action before..

does anyone know what are some very effective treatments (other than botox/dermabrasions) that you can buy which will truly eliminate/decrease the size of fines lines?

products that you can usually buy, what key ingredients reduce lines, eliminate wrinkles.

i'm starting to get some under my eyes and it's aggravating me..

if you have no clue then skip this post...

otherwise, your input'd be awesome

How old are you?

You should try to find a good eye cream from Clinique or something.

Oil of Olay also has some eye cream. Basically those women's products you see at Dillard's for middle aged women would have some sort of eye cream.

No cream erases lines.

Then what does erase lines?

just dont look into the sun much. always wear sunscreen underneath your foundation or something and apply it every 2-3 hours. I saw this lady in this beauty place the other day and she had these blackish greyish stuff all over her cheeks and lots of wrinkles and lines and i asked my mom what they were and she said that's probably from her looking into the sun when she was young.
also, if you have pimples or something, and you use the wrinkle creams, you can get more pimples because those creams are all oily.
sun = wrinkles = eww

lol, this ain't a CHICK talkin here....

yeah, so, a guy cares for his skin, that's totally natural.

somebody told me glycolic acid will totally decrease wrinkles

anyone wanna verify this for me

What does? Botox, Restulin and some other injectables, microdermabrasion and face lifts.

prescription retin-a

I can't believe people outside of the Parents Forum are thinking about wrinkles.

"I can't believe people outside of the Parents Forum are thinking about wrinkles."

Haha..hey kirby, don't you know everybody wants to have perfect, worry-fre]e skin?

WAHINE, prescription retin-a, can you try that under your EYES however?

will retin-a (if used under the eyes) eliminate lines/early wrinkles.

Yeah, I know everyone wants "perfect, worry-free" skin, but it's not always gonna happen. I'm quite comfortable with my weird combination skin, as long as I don't break out I'm ok with it.

it's ok as long as you don't put it in your eyes. retin-a is also the only thing that will get rid of stretch marks (besides any of that laser stuff). i get retin-a so that i wont break out. my derm uses, and he has the nicest skin i have ever seen on an old person. but im sure there's other stuff he uses.

retin-a works on stretch marks? interesting...

i've found that there is a direct correlation between number of ap tests taken and the amount of wrinkleness under the eyes, I'm 17 and my eyes are wrinkled :(

WAHINE, so putting some under your eye will decrease fine lines/wrinkles, correct

how long until i should expect results?

sempitern, i'm only 20, and am already worrying about wrinkles......

GET THIS: dermatologists said on national television on NBC a while ago that 'you should begin taking care of your skin the moment you are born' - lol

dude, i totally agree. so, IMO, a person, be that male or female, should begin applyin retinol/anti-aging products when they reach 17 or 18 (hell even 16) !

because the earlier you start, the better you're skin will be in later years.

Im only 16 and I'm so careful about the sun on my face and I REALLY dont want lots of liney wrinkles. my sunscreen and i are like, bestfriends lol. I hate regretting. I should've not chewed my nails when i was young when my mom told me not to. My nails are so screwed.

botox is really outdated and from people who work for the big cosmetic companies have told me, i wouldn't use clinique either. Elizabeth Arden has some good wrinkle cream, invest in an excellent sunblock, don't try to crease your face too much. wear sunglasses. oil of olay is always a cheaper option. or go in for an anti aging facial/acid peel too.

Dude... you should really lay off the steroids :-p

I know absolutely nothing about this subject.
