<p>A foreign college is still a college. You're a first-generation US college student, but that doesn't bring you much of an advantage.
If people like you were all first-gen, then that status would no longer be relevant due to the inpour of immigrants.</p>
<p>I rememer reading AdOfficer said if any of your parent has a college degree from any country, then you are not a first generation student.</p>
