Sweet, I got a job interview at Albertsons tomorrow. Thing is, I can't find the address for the hiring place.

Look in google maybe?

I've tried mapquest. Nothing. It's a trap!

Oooh, I found the place. I wonder if they'll hire me. That's the question.

Yeah Jiffy Lube hired me right away, too. My interview sucked. I gave the same answer to all my questions. Sometimes I didn't even reword it. They're only paying me 8.25/hour though.

Where the hell do you all live? I'm getting paid $.35 above minimum wage in theme park land...and it's nowhere near $8 :O

Anyway, on topic. Most people hiring at teen jobs aren't going to be difficult to impress, so please don't be intimidated, it's not worth it or necessary (college interviews and internship interviews are, naturally, exceptions to this). My interview was dumb and the girl was seriously much more nervous than I was.

How about I follow up with the 'should-haves' since I didn't get my job! Be confident, looking back now that's what I lacked (in my job interview & this one for a county fair queen contest). If it's an interview where they want to hear about your acomplishments in something, don't beat around the bush with them, spit it out! If you got an award in an area don't say 'well, uh, I got the award for...' instead go 'I was awarded...' Sound proud & positive & confident about it. And watch out for the 'how will this help you in the future' question, may sound easy now, but they aim to catch you offguard with that one!

if you're on CC, you're probably pretty smart. That means that if you just wing the interview, you'll probably be in the 90th percentile and above. This only applies to low-paying jobs though.

Any advice in regards to group interviews?
