I'm a guy and I'm going to an interview tomorrow for an office assistant job at the office of the provost. I'm thinking a business casual appearance, khakis and matching shirt/tie? Any ideas as to some typical questions?

Camo cap, John Deere t-shirt, Carhart jacket, jeans with confederate belt, and cowboy boots

Just say “yo mama” at the end of each response.

His reputation as a southerner precedes him!

Anyone else besides the neighborhood ■■■■■■?

I am not sure which ‘typical questions’ would be asked. Could you give a few examples?

I’d say business casual, you may not even need the tie. As for questions I think it’ll be along the lines of your hs gpa, class schedule, are you responsible, any work skills, etc. Just relax and give simple answers. Most interviewers enjoy hearing themselves talk and they’ll like you if you listen.

Same situation. I have work-study interview to be a bio lab assistant. I was just gonna wear black slacks, dressy shoes, white dressy shirt, a tie because I would just feel odd without it.

The questions, if it’s like any of the interviews I’ve had in the past:
“So why are you applying to _?”;
“What are your greatest weaknesses/strengths?”;
“What do you think you can bring to _?”’
“What sort of things in high school have you done to prepare you for ___”.

I’ve held four different campus jobs in my freshman year – buttondown shirt and pants is overdoing it, methinks. I wore a white T and jersey skirt, 's all.

What else would a guy wear aside from pants lol

and this is for a job at the office of the provost, figured it would be more formal or am i wrong?

I approve of the yo mama responses.

Come on, it’s a work study job. Goldman Sachs this is not. Relax.
