Job Interview

Hey everybody. I have a job interview at my town's Target on Thursday and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to act, what to say, what to wear, etc. If I get it, this will be my first job and I am a bit nervous on how to conduct the interview. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and I look forward to your suggestions.

Wear a polo or collared shirt (just my opinion).

Just don't show your nervous, or fiddle with your hands. A good solid handshake a nice way to start off the interview. Look the interviewer in the eye, and just be vocal about things, don't be shy.

You'll probably be really nervous, but try to make sure your voice isn't shaky. Nod your head when the interviewer is saying something and make good eye contact. They will probably give you some weird situation and ask you what you would do in that situation. Smile a lot and just be friendly. Good luck!

the target I applied to has a long interview.
i mean seriously its just target, why do they need to know questions like, 'tell me about a time you disagreed with a group, and what did you do about it?'

they ask a lot of questions like that. they really care about how you interact with groups, so be prepared with some stories about how you solved problems in group situations, leadership in groups, achievements in groups, etc. also, what qualities you think a worker should have. its a two part interview. my interview people were really grumpy.

just dress nice. you don't have to wear like a suit, if thats what you're thinking. i just wore a nicer looking shirt (not a t shirt) and dressed neatly and had good grooming.
