Errrr, do you guys know when our first payment is supposed to to be... err... payed? I don't recall anything about the date yet through all the papers. I'm tinking that it was sometime in September, but I[m not quite sure. Thanks.

lol i cant say double-you tee Eff

It's late August, if I remember correctly. They are slow to ask for money, but, don't worry, you will have a chance to send them a big check soon. ;)

August 16. That's the date the first payment is due, according to the Class of 2009 site.

yeah. And it says that Bills will be issued on August 2. Problem is it takes about 10 days for mail to get to Romania. And another 10 days back, so there's no way my check will reach Princeton before the deadline...

Yea that's not a lot of time to pay the bill...I think it's fine as long as they get the money before you get to campus though

Well they say they have a late payment fine, an interest of about 8% for the days you don't pay. And they also mention that you won't be registered as a student until you settle the bill.

Is the OA price included in our bill? Or is that separate?

I believe they extended the due date until Aug 26th.
Call student accounts to make sure.

For all students or only if you request it?

They said they extended the August 16th deadline. I assumed it applies to all. I would call though. (609) 258-6378

for the people who got fin. aid, the amount will be directly transferred to our student accounts by princeton, right?

I assumed that the bill is what fin aid doesn't cover. right?

Yea they bill you for the amount you agreed upon when you signed that finaid thing...

what if that amount included only personal/travel expenses?

Then I guess you don't get billed. shrug You'll see when your bill gets to you...

I think the bill will include our orientation charges, and all other small things.......i think!

yeah. I think so too. My family contribution was about 400$ over the travel expenses. Still the bill is far higher. Some of the expenses coverd by campus job are probably due before you can actually collect from the campus job. Like ressidential college taxes and the sort.

What are residential college taxes?
From what I understand, the estimated tuition is higher than it needs to be because they give you a lot of room for spending money/books and if you'r frugal, you don't need to actually spend that much. That's up to you though, so I don't think they would bill you for that...

Are these expenses shown on the bill and, for students on financial aid, are they paid by the university? Or are personal and travel expenses always your own expenses to meet? Like, does the university ever pay for a student's books, travel and personal expenses??
