Is it required to send first quarter grades for those who applied to Yale SCEA?

I don't think so.
My school doesn't even document quarter grades on our transcripts, only semester grades.

no it's not required

if you do end up getting accepted, then you'll have to send in the mid-year report and the end of the year report to show that you didn't slack off (if you did slack off, they can axe you and put someone on the wait-list in your place)

but for SCEA, you don't have to send in your first quarter grades

How much would you actually have to slack off for that to happen? (Do they actually do that to people?)

if your 2nd semester grades really slack off (let's say you went from all As to a couple As, a couple Bs, and some Cs, then they may reject you after they see that grade slackage)

but usually, as long as you don't screw up, you're fine.. you can drop a little (maybe a B or two) and it'll still be fine

just don't get a severe case of senioritis.. lol
