First Quarter Grades

I can't seem to find anything about this one the website, so does anyone know if we should send in our first quarter grades if we are applying early decision.

if they are good it wouldnt hurt…my school automatically did

i did, since they were to my liking ^^ however, i asked my counselor and he said he wouldn’t bother the adcom w/ more paperwork; also, my transcript office doesn’t send them unless specifically required/requested by the college. in the end i ended up emailing the admissions rep from my state and talking to someone at the undergrad office, and he said i could fax a report card if i wanted to. so i did. it’s not required for cornell, but i suppose they can’t hurt too much?

several people in the admissions office told me in person that they must be sent if your HS issues them… but i also found nothing in their literature. i got lucky, but this would have been nice to know in september :P

danny: I don’t think that applies to quarter grades. In some cases, Cornell will call the school & ask for the quarter grades, but other than that, sending quarter grades is not a requirement.
