First reactions to acceptance to dream UC?

<p>I thought this would be a cool thread, share your first reactions/impressions/feelings/thoughts when you saw the acceptance letter on that monitor!</p>

<p>When I opened up myberkeleyapplication, and clicked login, the page appeared in under a second. I read, I read, and I stopped. I read it again. Was this serious? I got accepted? I starred into the monitor for a good minute. Then, I started laughing, I couldn't stop. It was all too much, it was absurd, obnoxious, crazy. I honestly could not believe it. </p>

<p>I was on the phone with a friend, and I logged in. I saw that I got accepted to Berkeley, and I was just like. Oh shiet. I got in. Wow.</p>

<p>Screamed, then cried and bounced around all happy.</p>

<p>I was about to go hang out with my friend at UCLA, so I thought why not check the sight before going just for kicks. I logged into the UCLA decision sight and saw the huge Congratulations on the top of the screen, ran out of the room to my family and was going crazy. I was so surprised that I got it. I immediately called my girlfriend and she was crying on the phone (she thought I was going to have to move to SB or SD, 100 miles away from her) Good times…Good times.</p>

<p>Meh, bought some clam chowder and then got high.</p>

<p>I went to UCLA and partied with DTD and made out with sorority chicks :)</p>
