<p>Wondering if you are awarded a First Robotics Scholarship to Tulane and also receive a scholarship from Tulane - Presidential merit (27k) can they be combined? If so, only room & board would need to be out-of-pocket....</p>
<p>I cannot be 100% sure, but I think the answer is no (sorry!! If I am right, that is a bummer). According to the website regarding the Presidential merit award:

<p>But the only way to be 100% sure is by calling the financial aid office. It is possible that the Robotics Scholarship is a direct grant from a foundation and therefore different somehow, although I doubt it is an exception no matter where the funding comes from. Tulane rarely allows merit aid that exceeds the level of tuition, and even at the lower end of the Robotics Scholarship ($20,000) that would add up to $47,000 and therefore exceed that limit. Perhaps an arrangement could be made, however, that would get you full tuition. Certainly worth asking.</p>
