how much did your scores go up by? did they chage at all? or go lower? and did you study after the first ACT you took and did it help? thanks!

1st: 29; 2nd 31. I did no studying the first time, and approximately 5 total hours of studying the second.

1st score: 20
2nd score: 23
3rd score: 28
4th score (April): 27
5th score (June): ?

1st: 31
2nd: 33

it's weird..i didn't even study b/n the first and second.

1st: 31 (December)
2nd: 28 (February)
3rd: ? (April)

Didn't get a chance to study for the February ACT and I studied a little bit for the April one. I just hope I did better than February's test (waiting for online scores to be free =)).

hey paki. what did you do to raise your scores?

Paki isn't your move a stupid one? I heard from every person in the school that they average the scores after the 3rd one taken.

Am I mistaken in my assumption?

I mean you improved it by 8 points. I would have just kept the 28 and done a stellar essay.

Nam3less- By no means is that a stupid move. You can take the ACT or SAT however many times you want. No where does it say that you can't take the ACT a certain number of times and I dare you to prove me wrong; I detest people who keep on saying that ''don't take the SAT, ACT more than three times'' and by doing so, misinform others. Don't listen to anyone who tells you that the colleges start averaging out the scores after the third try because it's not true. Take it 10+ times if you have to.

once again , paki how did you raise your scores? any particular way you studied for it?

December 2005: 23
February 2006: 23
April 2006: 25
June 2006: ?

Kudos to you Paki! I hope I can make that jump!
I ordered a copy of Amsco's Preparing for the ACT Mathematics and Science; I heard it can increase your score significantly.

Feb 11, 2006;31
April 8, 2006;34 <--:)

yeah...no studying at all for either...if only i did so well on AP chem tests...

same as gumba...

Feb: 31
April: 34

Not much studying in between, but I think I became more comfortable with the time restraints.
