<p>I took the SAT for the first time today (junior) and I think I did horribly after going through the threads in the SAT prep forum. Please tell me colleges don't really care how you did the first time if you have a much improved score the second time around?</p>

<p>okay, sorry, didn’t know. graduated last year. anyway 1800-2000 “at the least” isn’t that bad. don’t listen to the super-freaks here. lol if you improve your score by a lot, maybe the college will assume you just had a really bad night or something. the admissions process isn’t necessarily as nit-picky as it seems…I work at admissions at a college, so I know a thing or two.</p>
<p>1800-2000 is too huge a range for expectations.</p>
