For all of you who have already gone through the FYE, do you have any advice for those of us who are trying to decide on which course to take?
You really can’t go wrong with any of them, so pick the one that interests you the most!
I took the Science Fiction FYE and was put in a class taught by an English professor (handy for a writing course) and an astrophysicist! Getting his opinions on the science fiction side was absolutely incredible.
It’s often said that HUMA (Great Books of the Ancient World) is the most difficult of them all, but it’s also the one that most people get put into, and I know several people who took that one who said it really isn’t nearly as bad as some people make it out to be.
Regardless, all the classes are taught by Trinity professors who really know what they’re doing.
