<p>I have my preview date set for July 13-14th and I'm picking out classes ahead of time. I plan on double majoring in History and Anthropology so should I take First Year Florida since it's only one credit and I am a freshmen or is it a complete waste of my time?</p>
<p>I am gonna take it only because the Florida Opportunity Scholarship requires me to take it, otherwise I would say it is a waste of time.</p>
<p>definitely a waste of time. I didn’t take it and i’m SO glad. They try to convince you to sign up for it during preview, but don’t fall into that trap. Just don’t do it.</p>

<p>yeah i took it. at the end they asked for feedback and i let them know how cheated i felt because of they put such an emphasis on it during preview and i signed up for it.</p>
<p>of course quickly thereafter i found out everyone else in my class was there for scholarships, and i realized i was an idiot. dont be me.</p>
<p>i got an A and in retrospect am happy about it because it boosts my GPA, but i didn’t deserve an A, and the effort you put in, while not being much, is a lot more than 1 credits worth. painful memories.</p>

<p>the only ‘awful’ part was the stress. the activities and assignments are not at all difficult, they’re just trivial and sort of poorly laid out. all the time i spent doing stuff for that class would have been better spent doing something else.</p>
<p>its not the worst thing in the world, its just a waste of a few hours a week. which i didn’t really have.</p>
<p>i guess that makes sense, i think i’d rather try another two credit class or maybe a club or something</p>
