Incoming freshmen at Case choose among 3 themed residential options: one is service oriented, the second is arts-related, and the third has a multicultural focus. Can someone explain how these themes are carried out in practice? Are there certain projects or assignments that are involved? Are the activities required or suggested? Do most students participate? If any current Case students could give examples of their theme-related activities as freshmen--and whether they thought they were worthwhile and interesting--it would be helpful.

Well, my daughter is finishing up her second year. The first year student residential college issue really didnt leave an impression. I really dont think there is much of a connection, if any????? I dont recall my daughter saying anything about how the themes were carried through to any activities. She is very active and joined a sorority, so I think if there was anything either positive or negative I would of heard about it.

I think you should decide where you want to live based on whether you want the boxes or the quads. I lived in a box, and they have a better location. I made awesome friends and stuff, but I do wish I lived in a quad.
