I suppose this is why some people are opposed to grand theft auto 0.o

i dont live anywhere near the south Bronx, you aren't from the Bronx are ya?

If Evander is your zoned school then you are most definitely not from the South Bronx. Hell you're near Gun Hill Rd if I'm not mistaken. That most definitely isn't the South Bronx. I'm going to go with the crazy guess here and say you're Albanian. I've seen my fair share of Albanians around the Bronx, especially where I went to school.

im guessing circuit is asian.

cause he is an ee major.

Albanians are white, they are just as white as italians and greeks. nor am i asian

To answer the OP's question:

Fights in elementary schools are between kids who most likely won't really harm each other. The kids, surprisingly, often become friends thereafter.

Fights in middle-school are usually between teens who just want to test their "fighting skillz" and compare themselves physically to their peers. One of the kids may end up with a black eye or a broken finger at the most.

Fights in high-school are usually between adolescent guys trying to impress their peers/girls. The reasons for the fight are often very stupid. The most that will normally happen is one of the guys will end up with a broken bone or two. The guys usually just hate each other for the rest of the year and don't normally make up.

Fights in college are between men and are rare. They often involve alcohol. There is a chance that the young adults may carry a weapon or may know someone or have a family member who might retaliate with one. In my opinion, this is the biggest reason for the small number of fights in college. There is far more significant potential consequences than just getting your finger broken or getting a black eye. Your very life may be at stake either during the fight or by having the other person retaliate later.

Then again, US is screwed up to a great degree and kids in high-school are starting to become stupid enough bring weapons to high-schools. If you are a parent and believe in having your kids stand-up for themselves (as do I), please make sure to drive it through their head that they should abstain from fighting after middle school. Fights are all good in high-school, but only if the situation really demands it. They are virtually never okay in college unless you are defending your own life or the life of somebody else.
