@orcenurse they will only email if you call and for some reason you didn’t get it in your regular mail. They emailed my daughter last year because everyone got their letters and she didn’t.

I kept on working on my application till the day (Jan. 31) everything was due for the application and my essay didn’t go through until February 2nd. I didn’t receive my email till February 3rd. Do y’all think my letter will be sent later. I thought I was in before the deadline but I guess it wasn’t processed until later.
@fithopeful the only way to find out is to call and see if they made your decision and if they sent out your letter. It depends who you get on the phone. Some will tell you and some won’t.
S was accepted for Communication Design coming from high school. For those who got in and received their package was there any financial Aid included? Or does it come later?
Hey guys - has anyone gotten an acceptance letter yet that is NOT an outstanding applicant or is part of honors program? Also, anyone able to access MYFIT yet? Seems the user name/pass screen is now loading but it is telling me it doesn’t recognize the name. Wondering if that’s still part of the downtime.
I can log onto myfit right now. It’s still the same though; I heard it doesn’t change until after the tuition deposit is mailed/faxed in.

any one else in lower NY that still hasn’t received the letter? I didn’t apply for honors program, but I only live 40 min from the city so I’m getting very anxious. Hopefully it comes today. I applied for the fashion business management AAS major in late October and hope to get the FBM BS afterwards. I’m currently a senior in high school and just now realizing that I would be able to handle the honors programs. Is it possible to apply for it my sophomore year?
@25marissa25 Please let me know how you heard FA is out in May? How can we pick a final school with May 1 deposit if we don’t have FA from FIT.

I called today. They always have a different story. I was told scholars and transfers went out when I called Monday. Today he said some scholors went out. All others going out Monday. Then he said my daughter might get her letter Friday. I don’t think they can actually let you know. I do know by next week everyone will have a letter and if you don’t get one they will email it. Good luck to everyone. Rejections and wait list always go out the same time as acceptances. I was able to go on the site today and see the cost of attendance number plus class search. Cost of attendance pretty much means your accepted if you have a number there. Good luck to everyone!!!

My daughter got her rejection last year on the same day her friends got their decisions.
