My daughter got her letter emailed today and it’s dated today 4-4. She’s accepted!!
wahoooo!!! Congrats!! Mom you can now breathe.
Congratulations!! That’s wonderful!! Another anxious mom here. Quick question @dizydee, did your daughter’s COA ever change before she got the letter?
@dmoh88 yes it did. It changed 2 weeks ago. She got rejected 2 times before and it didn’t change then. So it does mean your in when it changes. But I heard sometimes it still can change after you get the letter.
@Boeing757 thank you!!!
Hey everyone! I logged into MyFIT to see if i could see my application status from there but there was an ‘Internal Server Error’. Im from California and applied as an undergrad transfer and haven’t gotten anything in the mail.
Received an acceptance letter, envelope addressed correctly but the inside letter is to another applicant. Anyone else have this issue? Should an email also be arriving? Waiting in angony.
Thank you @dizydee. Still holding out hope here, but starting to feel a bit discouraged at this point — she and I both! No changes in COA and absolutely nothing in the mail or email yet…
My COA currently is at nothing (it says $.00). I’m wondering if that’s a bad sign? I didn’t realize where my COA was until a few days ago so I have no idea if it changed previously.
Nevermind lol. I went back in this thread and I’m caught up now.
@dmoh88 you should call them tomorrow and if they have her letter ready they will email her. You have to ask them to do it. The wait is terrible. Last year my daughter cried for three weeks when she didn’t get in. She went to the community college and applied for the spring and then didn’t get in again but she was on the wait list which means pretty much nothing. She cried again. All of her friends go there. She was so upset. I told her that everything happens for a reason. At this point she is happy she got in but she also got into St Johns University and now she’s confused. She has a big decision to make. Good luck to your daughter!
@dizydee I’ve been keeping up with the thread and I was rooting for your daughter, just wanted to say congratulations to her! Everything really does happen for a reason and her story proves that! Best of luck in whatever decision she’s decides to make!
Has anyone gotten into the one year AAS program for communication design foundation ?
@amirakassem thank you so much!!!
Hey guys, those who haven’t received their letter yet, are you guys able to view your submitted application on the MyFIT student portal? I’m not able to view the status of my application and I’ve had this issue for a while. And I haven’t received my letter yet either, is that a bad sign?
@mariam18 Same it says there’s an HTTP cookie error for me and I haven’t got my letter yet either but I called in fit and they said my application had been submitted successfully
has anyone from India received their letter?
So there is a fix for that! You just have to login and click on go to my financial aid checklist . That will open another tab, once it is open just close it and go back to the previous one and click on application status . It will open .
I am so excited your daughter is accepted!!! Congratulations
Hello everyone! I applied for the Communication Design AAS program. I applied with just my essay and not my portfolio for reasons that would be too much to type. Upon receiving my essay, FIT contacted me asking for my portfolio as well as they wanted to learn more about me. (Good sign #1?). I quickly handed in my portfolio in early March, though I received an email recently saying that I need to provide my high school and college transcript to be considered for fall!! :[ I’m quickly sending this information to admissions but I wanted to know if them contacting me this much for more information is a good sign?!?! its driving me nuts! lol thanks!
