FIT applicants for fall 2018

@misotori well coa is under financial aid tab that’s why i think if you didn’t fill it out you won’t be able to see it, And it also says the following info is based off you financial aid info. I didn’t because i can’t get any money from it!

@broadcityfan Oh okay but they dont review your FAFSA first clearly because my COA showed up but my Financial aid is still pending to be reviewed

Outstanding applicant letters should be coming out in the next two weeks. I’m so nervous! Might need some retail therapy after this stressful wait haha

@misotori It was mostly ignorance on my end and not giving myself enough time to get everything in order. Also from what I know I wouldn’t have qualified for much, if any aide.

Also if your COA is updated would it just appear automatically on the Overall Status of Finacial Aid or do you have to choose the 2018-2019 tab?

@EricCarson26 Soh I understand, I applied for Aid most likely knew I wasn’t going to get anything!

You go to overall financial aid status and it should show up but for some people, it may not show up and I’m not sure why.

@shakuton omg I really hope you get an OA letter!

Hey! Anyone here who applied for AAS Fashion design?

I’m so nervous! Hope they send out letters soon!

Anyone else getting “Error 500 - Internal Server Error” when they go to check their financial aid or applications status?

@Lake111231 Yeah that’s happening with me too.

@Lake111231 I went to this link http://it.fitnyc.edu/2018/03/05/mar-3-application-status-secondary-sign/ and saw the solution for the same and my access was restored but now even that ain’t working.

@oliviabeeker Hey Olivia! I’ve applied for fashion design too and I just wanted to ask you something regarding the portfolio. Get back to me when you see this. Thanks!

Oh I kept getting the internal server error, but found that it would occur sporadically on safari/google chrome. It’d work on my phone though all the time

Once someone gets one of the Outstanding Applicant letters can you please post here and also what it looks like. Thanks.

I’ve heard that last year OA letters came in a small envelope which made some people entially think they got rejected, just something to think about lol.

@shakuton Hey thanks ! It worked.

Anyone here that can help me? I couldn’t attend to an interview for my major so they said would call me but never did. I’m kind of concerned and worried because it seems kind of late now.

Its probably best for you to go to their office, email, or call them with your questions. Best is to see them in person. If Have you been constantly calling them, nagging and insisting that they reschedule for you?

Lowkey just almost had a heart attack from the Stitch email the FIT admissions sent out haha

@shakuton hahahaha more than low key I took a deep
breath before clicking on it…
