I saw someone on Instagram got their acceptance for fall 2016, anyone else got in?
@shar1998 The people who are getting accepted are BA applicants. AA applicants should find out anytime from mid March to April 1st.
I had issues with my WES report which said rejected. However i called FIT yesterday and they told me until my class gets full, i still have a chance at getting accepted. Applied to the fashion business management AAS. I dont understand what is the meaning of what that means…
Does anyone have any idea if FIT will email us if we are rejected? Or is it just by post? Do they also send us rejection letters or just acceptance letters?
@jewelbru - FIT only sends acceptance and rejection notices by postal mail. Additionally, in their Facebook forum, one prospective student asked, “Are they sending out acceptances first and denials second?” FIT replied, “All of the decisions go out at the same time.”

Same thing happened to me. FIT received my WES report. I had applied as a freshman and they needed document by document report. .then my application status on MyFIT changed to freshman advanced standing. I checked again and now it shows Transfer college outside USA and now they have asked for a course by course evaluation. Am so nervous.

I’m transferring as well. I hope I get into the CFM BS program. I’m scared because the give priority to FIT students that took their previous AA program for entry to the Undergrad programs, on top of that the CFM program is really hard to get into even though I have experience working in the industry. But I still have high hopes that I’ll get in

I kinda snooped through the fall 2015 applicants chat and the first acceptance was received on March 20th so hopefully it will be the same for this year!

My daughter heard she was accepted yesterday (3/10) for fashion design. Her letter said she was part of a group notified before the April 1 date. Good luck to everyone!
I am also transferring, hopefully into the Fashion Business Management (former FMM) program. I am so excited and anxious! I hope we get some news mid march. is anyone transferring from the south or specifically Florida?
