Has anyone heard from Bright Futures about the top scholar award form each
county?

Hmm.. never heard abotu that one..

What does the award include?

The only (main) two I know of are the FAS (3.5, 1270 SAT/28 ACT100% tuition) and FMS (3.0 GPA 970 SAT / 20 ACT 75% tuition)

not to get off topic.. but i dont understand how people can not at least get the FMS.. it's so easy..

You would be surprised......

People that stood in line with my friend when he was taking the ACT were saying things like:

"Gawd. i just hope I make a 17."

Now, I'm not saying a 17 is a horrible score, but I have to say, it is quite low.

The Bright Futures Top scholar award goes to the student in each county that has the highest ACT/SAT and GPA. It is usually awarded after the first term of college. It is 1500 per year. I think the formula is similar to the Robert C. Byrd award.
