<p>It's been five years already? Wow I still remember that horrific day when I watched the smoke bellow from the first tower as I got ready for school and than seeing the second plane hit as I was eating toast.. I remember it vividly..</p>
<p>I agree it's too soon and I was in CA safe from everything, but it still was horrible.</p>
<p>i remember i was walking to the bus stop (back in 6th grade) and somebody was sayin "did you hear? somebody crashed a plane into the world trade center!" like it was amusing. i didn't know if he was joking. i pretended to laugh too.</p>
<p>i'll never forget the childish smile on that kid's face...</p>
<p>and then to the TVs in the classrooms. we basically spent all class time watching. it was a subdued day.</p>
<p>the tragic irony of that day will never escape me.</p>
