Does Bright Futures superscore the ACT like they do with the SAT?

I got a 27 [27.25 to be exact] and I only need .25 more to have it round to a 28 for 100%. I'm not sure if I should bother retaking it unless I am certain that Bright Futures will superscore the ACT since there's a chance that I'll drop in some subjects when I retake it. =/

i say if u want it then retake it, i got a 27 also and i just registered for the feb act. even if u get a lower score they will still take the highest.

The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program establishes three lottery-funded scholarships to reward Florida high school graduates for high academic achievement.

PharmAmbition: You send ACT scores one at a time as opposed to SAT that sends all of your previous scores in their score reports. You have nothing to lose by taking it again. As far as I know your transcripts don't have your SAT/ACT scores in them.

Well that's not what I meant... I **want **them to superscore my ACT score because if I get lower subscores in some of the subjects, as long as I increase on one subject on the next testing, [if they superscore] I'll be able to keep my highest scores from the previous testing and be able to get that 28 for 100%.

Let's turn it around. If you score better in all of them then you don't need to superscore. If you score higher in some and lower in other ones your composite might still be higher. If they are all bad, don't send them. If they don't superscore, it won't matter. Like I said before you have nothing to lose.
This falls in the same category as "unless you apply you won't find out if you are accepted."

Well that may be great for my ego in going into testing, but that still doesn't answer my question. Does anyone know if Bright Futures superscores the ACT? It'd just be nice to know because on the good chance that the only way I'd be able to get a 28 is based on a superscore then I'm back to square one asking the same question except it'll be sometime in February after I get my scores back.

I submitted my application for bright futures already online. (Go do it....NOW!!! LOL.) It's very easy. Yes, they do superscore the ACT for the bright futures scholarship. Yay for you! The application puts you in consideration for multiple scholarships, but BF is the only one where they superscore both tests.

P.S. A 3.5 weighted GPA= High academic achievement my ass. 80% of students in my school make that. Now, the SAT and ACT score requirements are another story.......
