Florida State University/ FSU Accepted/Rejected Class of 2023

Hey gang,
Thought I would start new discussion for the Summer or Fall 2019 application process for FSU. I just got done putting grades in the SSAR and it was tough. My daughter’s school in Cherry Hill NJ has crazy course descriptions that don’t seem to match up. I keep asking the admissions dept for help. I am not a complete idiot, but becoming one! Please ask questions, give us advice and what’s going on in our crazy little world.

The SSAR thing is insane. Why on earth do they need that when they get the official transcripts?? My son was just accepted to USF and UCF and did not have to do the SSAR thing.

My neighbor told me that some kids have already been notified that they have been denied acceptance? Has anyone else heard this?

I don’t think for FSU, but UCF and USF are on rolling deadline. My friend got a letter of deferment from UCF, so I don’t know what that means! Maybe that is a wait list.

We received an email saying my daughter’s application has been processed and her admission decision can be accessed on January 31st. Why make us wait? LOL…

My daughter got the same thing!

Same here!

Wish I knew if it was good or bad!!

Are you guys that got the processed email in state or OOS?

My daughter recvd. that e-mail and we are OOS

My daughter received the same email, we are in state

We are out of state in MA

Anyone have an idea if the email is a positive or negative sign?

OOS…

OOS from MA as well

Do you think it’s possible the admissions decisions will come out earlier than the January 31st date. Also i got the email as well… hopefully it’s good!

Also really scared I will get summer session… I’m from PA and don’t want to leave that early for college.

Typically all decisions are released on the same day, online. My two D19’s both rec’d the email (very different stats) - I think it is just a bulk email.

No. They stick to their dates. You’ll get an email before the end of the day. Both my kids did.

My daughter did summer by choice and it was the best experience. You have to do a summer at some point. so why not get it over with and get acclimated at the same time?!
