Zebes, similar but slightly different situation. My Daughter and my wife will be going to orientation. Since she is in a undeclared status right now (has no idea yet where her interests lie) we have some pretty wide latitude on GEP courses that she could take. We already have gotten a recommendation from her Math teacher in that course sequence. That's why I was curious about how interactive the scheduling process is.

I would say she is leaning towards UCF, but right now we aren't getting much out of her. Today the official thick envelopes from both UCF and USF came. But we know it's just between UCF and FSU right now. Seemed like a opportunity to start a conversation. Basically we got about I'm waiting for the FSU decision, and I'm thinking about Academics, Location, Logistics, and student life. So the wait continues.

^^^ S0 similar. We're waiting on UF; I've heard the 23rd, but who knows ... and UGA, the 30th or 31st, I think. However, I think he's ruled out UGA even if he gets in. Doesn't want to go that far away, afterall. So, it'll be between UCF and UF, if he gets the choice. Thing is ... I'm not stressed because I know he'll do well at either school. Pros and Cons ... each, and he's one of those kids who'll make the most of his situation. I'd just like to know what color sweatshirt to buy, ya know? <g></g>

I am new to this site.
Interested in UCF
Can somebody rate my chances of being accepted, possibly getting some sort of scholarship. I am interested in their hospitality program. Any information on what it is like? (Rankings, status, career opportunities)
