Can anyone give me feedback on living at Fluor?

Can you be more specific? What do you want to know about?

I lived in Fluor during my freshman year (2006/2007) and while it was a long time ago, it’s relatively the same. I’ve discussed Fluor in some of my older posts, so if you read through those and still have questions, come back here and I’ll try to answer them!

Thank you for replying!!

I wanted to know… is Fluor located in the center of the campus or is it known as slightly far away?

is it social?

is it relatively nice/nicer than other residential buildings? as far as being new/old and having extra amenities? :)

If you look at a map of USC: [USC Maps](<a href=“USC Maps”>USC Maps)

…you will find that Fluor sits at the northwest corner of campus next to Webb tower and the Lyon Center (gym). It is not in the area where the dorm-dorms are, but McCarthy Quad is a 5 minute walk away. It’s close.

I think almost all Freshman housing complexes were renovated/updated in the 2007/2008 school year, including Fluor. It’s not “new” like Arts and Humanities or Parkside, since it was built in the 80s – but it’s structurally “newer” than the dorms.

Everything else has already been answered, so I suggest you look in the other housing threads (again, there is one called USC Housing that is best) because I don’t want to post the same info over and over. Just look at posts I’ve made and you’ll find a few about Fluor.
