So I'm taking the SATs in June. I always fly through the CR and get practically all of them right. Occasionally I might get 1 or 2 wrong. Thing is though I can finish a CR section in less than 18 minutes on the ones where you get 25. If I'm sneaky would it be possible to skip ahead and try to do some of the math problems? Those always take me longer than the time that's given. Has anyone done this? Will my scores get canceled if I'm caught? Getting like 5 or 6 problems done before the section starts would really help me.

At the testing center where I take it, I see people flipping through the pages all the time. The proctors are pretty bad at catching people cheating.

Though I wouldn’t take the chance, if you get caught you’re screwed big time. For me, I finish all the sections on time, it’s just the tough vocab that gets me every time :(

Ya, I guess I just have to be really careful. I might not even do it, depends on whether or not I can finish CR fast enough.

Yes if you do do it, then it’s possible your scores will get canceled. And although your proctor may not catch you, undoubtedly, some students around you will notice and could report it. In short, it is possible to get away with this, but there are some risks involved.
