Now i have noticed over the last 2 quarters of high school i find it hard to focus during the latter parts and to a lesser extent earlier parts of the day.

I want to experiment energy drinks, most likely monster because it supposedly doesn't taste horible, i read a few articles about how to avoid the crash, like eating other things for substance.

When i egt home and am studying for a test i find it very difficult to focus, should one energy drink in the morning solve this problem or should i drink another in the afternoon, any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

P.S just as a side note i have never had an energy drink and do not know what crash feels like, oh and am in 9th grade.

Take a step back, man! You're a freshman—this is not a stage where you should even be feeling this tired/unfocused. If you start to place dependencies on things such as energy drinks this early on, it will grow worse over the next several years.

My advice? Maybe it is a problem with your diet/health habits. try to get 7+ hours of sleep, eat breakfast (just do it!), and make sure you take time to eat throughout the day. Also include at least 30 minuted of exercise—it really helps.

hyperJulie is correct. Energy drinks, regardless of commercial claims, generally do not help people focus. If you want to improve your focus, when you get home, eat some green or cruciferous vegetables, and a piece of fruit. Those are the items that have the nutrients that your body needs to allow your brain to focus.
