Follow the money or the heart?

ok...I would like you guys opinion on this situation...

Suppose you got accepted to a state school (in state) and got a full scholarship...but you DON'T want to go there

On the other hand...the school that you've been wanting to go to since forever is a private college about $20,000/yr but you only got a tuition scholarship...

What would you do? Follow your heart or follow the money?

PS- This hasn't happened...its just hypothetical

depends on individual situation

I'd follow my heart for sure. Somethings are worth much more than what money can pay for, IMO education is one of those things.

Then again, as Celebrian said, it varies. If money means more to you than education, then go for it.

No, I mean if you're going to be taking on 20k in just loans, it's not worth it. I'll be likely paying close to 40k, but there's no chance I would get a full scholarship anywhere, so I certainly won't have this issue

LOL... this is my life!

I have a full tuition at a big state university and only minor scholarships at the small private schools I like. Hmmm... $7K(for room/board) or $30K a year??? I don't know what I'm going to do yet. I'm still waiting to get some other info from schools.
