<p>I'm coming in the fall and i'm wondering how good the food is. It has to be better than what we have in Fresno.</p>

<p>Fresno? The food off campus is pretty much ridiculously amazing. The food on campus is alright, sometimes nowadays actually pretty good.</p>
<p>Are there any places that are especially good? I didn't really go anywhere on Cal Day and no one ever mentioned food...</p>

<p>Cheeseboard pizza, viceroy, la cascada, Naan N Curry is alright, TOP DOG, Gypsy's is pretty good.</p>

<p>I'm sure there are...I think I saw one like...on a street right next to the campus, next to all these other small, fast-food places. (fast-food aka chinese take-out, indian restaurants, hot-dog shops, korean bbq, etc., not mcdonald's and company)</p>

<p>Other restaurants: Gypsy's, La Med, Gregoire's, Trattoria la Siciliana, Naan 'n Curry, The Patio, The Smokehouse, Crepes a Go Go, Thai House, Poulet, Cheeseboard, Zachary's...the list goes on and on</p>
<p>The place to go for boba is Quickleys, located in the Asian Ghetto.. cheap and good. Only $1.19 for a milk tea with boba.. I would know, I've been there every day this semester... And for other ones.. Old Teahouse and Sweethearts are also in the Ghetto.. IMO Teahouse is alright and Sweethearts is crap</p>

<p>i'm from soCal and in soCal we got Lollicup...@ Lollicup they call it boba, and Sweetheart's boba and drinks resembles Lollicup to me...</p>

<p>Fantastic? not quite, cheap, yes. Peony has good dim sum in Oakland's chinatown, but it's a little better in SF.</p>
