Foot

Hey Guys-

Congrats to everyone; we're all looking forward to seeing you here next year.
In the meantime, I wanted to give you a heads-up about Freshman Outdoor Orientation Trips, a great program that I'm a part of. FOOT takes place the week before freshman arrive on campus and inolves four and six day hiking trips in the woods with a group of eight other Yale students and two upperclassmen leaders. It's an awesome time and I totally recommend it. We have trips for all skill levels, including those who have never seen the woods! It's the largest pre-orientation activity; about 400 freshman do it every year, and it gives you a great base of friends when you arrive at Yale at the same time as all the other Freshmen on Friday The website is www.yale.edu/foot. Please post here if you have any questions and I'll answer them.

CONGRATS TO THE BULLDOGS OF 2009.

Maybe I'm just dense, but I couldn't figure out from the website... How much does it cost?

It's in the "letter to FOOTies" area: http://www.yale.edu/foot/downloads/coverletter.pdf
It's $340 for a six day and $310 for a four day.
However, there is lots of financial aid available. I think last year it was like $50.00 if you qualified for financial aid.
