I would like to take my parents to see a Carolina football or basketball game, but tickets can add up to be quite the expense. I believe it's at least $50 per person. Does anyone know if I would have to pay the $50 to sit with my parents as well? Is there a cheaper (and legit) alternative to get tickets? Thanks.

Do students get tickets to every game? Like can we purchase tickets for all games including Duke vs UNC?

For football, yes. There were two lottery games this year, ECU and State. Most people got tickets for ECU, and you can get in with your OneCard to every other game. For basketball, all the games are lotteries, and it’ll be pretty unlikely for you to get Duke tickets in basketball.

I believe the cheapest seats for the public are $50, and even buying guest tickets for the student section is the same price. You can probably get tickets off someone the day of the game though for less - that’s what my suitemate’s parents always do…

I don’t think there are any guest seats in the student section for basketball. If you want lower-level seats, you’ll probably have to go onto ticketmaster or stubhub and look for a ram’s club member that is selling their tickets (the ones they sell on tarheelblue.com are in the upper level). Risers are for students only.

ahh, I was talking about football when I mentioned the guest tickets…haha, sorry.
