<p>If school starts on the 25th of september, why does northwestern have 3 home games before then? won't there be no student fans at the games?</p>
<p>There will be students, albeit not nearly as many as when the Fall quarter gets underway. Also, there are many NU alumni and others associated with the university living in the Chicagoland area who will attend. </p>

<p>Because other Big 10 schools are in semester system and they are not going to wait for us. Any team that's 3 games behind isn't gonna have enough games by bowl selection day.</p>
<p>Good, Im glad to hear that. As to the weather, it does get awfully cold, but the campus in the Fall and Winter can actually be quite beautiful. But, there is no question that much of the year it will look different from your recent visit, although that would be true of any place that experiences four true seasons.</p>
