football tickets

ok what sections are the student sectons? i cant find anything on it.

btw i got section 6. row 13. isnt that completely on the other side of the field? and on the opponent side?? what is this nonsense?
would i be able to get into the student section with my ticket?

Here you go young Wolverines!

http://www.mgoblue.com/document_display.cfm?document_id=3056

Section 33 is on the North Endzone and section 6 is on the Eastern corner of the South Endzone. Row 37 is high enough to see the entire field and low enough to see the action up close. Row 13 is probably too low to see what's happening on the other end of the field, but it will allow very good vision whenever the teams are on your side of the field.

Don't sweat it, both of you have good seats.

Gingerbreadboie, you are indeed on the other side of the field, but you are not in the opponent side. You can perhaps call the ticket office and see if there is anything that can be done, but don't expect too much. At any rate, I have been to games in the student section and to games in other parts of the stadium and the atmosphere was always special, so don't feel lile you will be missing something if you are sitting far from the student sections.

student sections are 26-34 i think. section 6 is on the opposite side. you're gonna need to be tricky to get into the student section. you can try trading to get into the student section, although it's unlikely it'll work
you can also white out your section number on your ticket and put in the section you want. this is risky.
or you can make a fake ticket with the section number you want. use the real ticket to get into the main gates, then use the fake ticket to get into the section you want (they don't scan once you're inside the main gates).

i probably shouldn't be telling you all this.

What row did you get into maguo? I'm kind of curious as to what a group like your has when it spans a few years.

Section 37 Row 2. Pretty bad?

-GF

idk where my tickets are. i put my fraternity address and apparently they don't mail to fraternities/sororities. i got to pick them up sometime.

so just to clarify..

you enter through a main gate, where they scan your ticket, rip it, give you the (which) side?..

then you head towards the stadium, where you enter through your section gate, where they check your section number
correct so far?

now once inside, i notice through pictures theres a walkway that goes all around the stadium, about where the gates are. can i just enter through any section and just walk along to which ever section i want? if i can, is it easy or is it ridiculously packed i wouldnt be able to reasonably walk around the stadium before the game?

is the "go in with 3 people, take 3 out, take two more in" tactic reasonable? or is it too much of a hassle that no one really does this?

can you enter the main gates, come out, and go back in again? if you can, then theres almost absolutely no point anyone would buy tickets.. except to be legit. you can just use the tactic above..

thanks. im trying to see how my $200+ season tickets were not a total waste of money if im gonna be switching sections all the time anyway..

okay, let me outline this clearly:
For students, you get a packet of season tickets. Let's say you're an unlucky freshman and you get Section 9 but you want to sit with your friends in Section 31. So, you need to make a fake ticket, like with a printer/scanner, saying section 31. You take your section 9 ticket to the main gate, where they scan it, and you get in. You get inside the gate, hide your section 31 ticket or whatever with it, and then go to section 31. Then, you flash your section 31 fake ticket to the guy guarding section 31 and he lets you in. he doesn't have a scanner, so he won't know it was fake.
No, you cannot reenter a game. There is limited mobilitiy between sections. there are guardrails and there are lots of people. You can probably get from section 31 to 32 for example, but getting from section 6 to 31 is next to impossible.
btw, i've never done this before. i had no reason to.
hope that helps.

isee. im guessing when you enter through the main gates, they take the side with the barcode and give you the larger portion?

ok so you cant reenter the main gates.. but im under the impression you CAN reenter the section gates? how else would you go to the restroom

yes, you can reenter section gates.

What is the last athletic event you went to? They don't rip the stubs off anymore. They just scan them and you walk in.

how is section 17, row 58?

Section 37, row 2 allows for great views of the action coming up the field, but not so much for action going down the field. You will have near perfect vision of any scoring in the North Endzone.

Section 17, row 58 will give you a good view of the entire field, but not so much a great view of the action on every play.

Like I said, there are no perfect seats, but there are very fiew bad seats (the very high rows in sections 20 and 26 can sometimes be bad because the press box inpedes full vision. Otherwise, every seat in the big house has its positives and negatives. Overall, the atmosphere is magical and electric. People don't go to the games to watch football, they go to the games to enjoy the atmosphere and spectate. For those who really want to watch the game, go to Scorekeepers and watch the game on a big screen.

so they dont rip the tickets..

i was thinking maybe i can turn my sec 6 into a 26 by writing in a "2" with a sharpie. do the main gates or the section gates look closely enough to see this?
or do i hold on to my ticket the whole time?

I'm guessing since they look close enough to see what the number is, they'll be able to notice if it's handwritten.

Anybody know for sure where the band is going to be this year?

is section20 part of the student section?

No, I don't think Section 20 is not part of the student section. If I recall, the student section starts at 22 and ends at 26 or so, but I could be wrong.

is it possible to sneak into the student section if it's 2 sections away then?

also do you HAVE to sit at your assigned seat if you are not in the student section? coz i know people move around anywy in the student section, how bout outside, can i move to sit with my friend?

another question..i m in a seating group, how come they put half the people in section 24 and half the people in section 20, everyone in different rows? what's the point of having a seating group then?

i thought they moved the band to the center portion of the field and moved the student section towards the northwest corner..

How is section 30 row 50?
