how do the assigned seats work at the football games? If you sign up with a group are you obligated to sit with them? Thanks. :)

That is where you should sit. I am sure you could move closer if there are empty seats. But why would you want to if you’re sitting with a group of friends?

wel, I might want to sit with people from my dorm or something instead of the people from my school

You can always move up to the empty seats, although there may not be any close to your dorm friends.

I kind of want to add to your question…

If we purchased tickets without joining a specific group, can we sit with whom ever within our given section? Or are we stuck sitting in our assigned seats?

Technically, you are expected to be seated in the section stated on your ticket. They have people posted at the entrance to each section to check. However, there are many ways to get around that. Here’s what my friends and I did this past year (we were freshman and didn’t know each other when forming seating groups): We would send one or two people up to their actual seats in the same section, they would then ask people seated there if they could borrow their tickets for a minute. Then, with a stack of tickets in hand for a specific section, they would come back down to the concourse and get the rest of us. Or, you could stick with the tried and true method of entering where you’re supposed to, and just walking along the stands until you get to your friends. Whatever the case is, you’ll find a way to get where you want to be. After all, you’re now wolverines!
GO BLUE!
