For CC to Business School transfer should I be taking a language ???

I am about to become a sophomore at a community college in Southern California. I am an Economics major with intentions on transferring to UCLA’s Bus-Econ program, USC Marshall, NYU stern . . . . ETC. I currently am on a decent path with a 3.8 GPA going into my sophomore year, but I haven’t taken any language classes since my Fresh-Soph years in high school and was not very proficient. I am here to ask if these are classes i need to take my first and second semester this year at my CC to be able to transfer or i guess be competitive ? or can i transfer first and worry about this down the line once im already at a new school ?

Sorry for terrible grammar in advance.

Look up the requirements to transfer into the business and economics majors at each of your target schools. They may specify what level of foreign language is needed.
