What are the required freshman year courses?? I'm already taking calculus and i took physics... do i havta take english, foreign language (spanish), and/or another math and science?????????

I don't think foreign language is a required freshmen class. I had a sophomore, junior and a senior friend in my spanish class. I'm a sophomore transfer but I know they weren't.

r u a senior in binghamton right now...?

There are no "required" courses that Freshmen must take. If you are in the Watson School for Engineering, you are pre-registered in some courses, but you can take electives. You do have Gen-Ed requirements that you must complete before graduation. You can look here for that http://bulletin.binghamton.edu/

Usually, you try and get your gen-eds out of the way, but I've heard of people doing it in different ways. Also, you need to score a 3 or better on the AP Calc exam to get exempt from Calculus. Also, depending on what school you are in, it could count for a different number of credits. I got a 4 and got 4 credits, but if I got a 4 in the Harpur school (I'm in SOM), I would have received 8 credits. Physics is a tricky one, b/c it depends on what AP Physics you took. I don't think it will count as a Lab credit if you took the lower level one (the least material covered).

Play around on www.busi.binghamton.edu with the schedule of classes and how to fulfill your gen-eds. Make sure to take into account as to what school you got into, b/c it will change the requirements.
