Hey I'm kind of nervous about Orientation (I am attending on July 1-2) because I don't really know what classes to register. I was accepted as an Electrical Engineering major. Also, I already took the AP Calculus exam, but I didn't receive my score yet (I don't think I did too well). Do I still need to take Calculus I (with the diagnostic test on orienation)?

And finally, do I live with a stranger for a night or do I get a room to myself?

Thanks!

Also, on the checklist, it says to acknowledge the Student Code of Conduct. Apparently, it is supposed to show up on its own on the website, but it doesn't pop up for me. What should I do?

hmmm. if you got over a 3, no you won't need to take calc I aka MATH 221. but honestly, the diagnostic is really easy and takes like 15 min max. at the same time, you can take it in the fall within the first couple of days so it's up to you.

you live with a stranger for the night. be openminded and friendly!! orientation could make for a great way to meet people you'll hang out with in the future.

lucky for you, watson kid's schedules are practically set for you so I think you pick like one more class/elective...
go for the englishs! ENG 115 with Josh K should be a breeze.. but there's a lot more interesting ones out there like the 117
GEOL 111 if you need a L/Lab gened...
HDEV 101 or 105, whichever is for FYE, first year experience..

chart for watson ap credits -- [url=http://watson.binghamton.edu/watsonschooladvising/Advplc/ap-nx.htm]Watson School Advising/url

you need a 5 to place out of Calc 221 -- a 3 or 4 gives you lower level math credit which satisfies M gened req'ment, but you still need diagnostic test and to take 221 if you want Calc.
